Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Notary Public?
A Notary Public is an official appointed by the state government to serve as an impartial witness in the signing of important documents. Notaries verify the identity of signers, ensure they are signing willingly and are aware of the contents of the document.
What is a Mobile Notary Public? How does that work?
A Mobile Notary Public travels to your location for your convenience. Instead of you coming to an office, we come to you - whether that's your home, office, hospital, or any other location. This service is especially helpful for those with busy schedules, mobility issues, or urgent document needs.
What is needed in order to complete a notarization?
To complete a notarization, you'll need:
- A valid, current government-issued photo ID
- The document(s) to be notarized (unsigned - you'll sign in front of the notary)
- All parties who need to sign must be present
- Payment for notary services
What forms of identification are acceptable to complete a notary?
Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Valid Driver's License
- State-issued ID card
- U.S. Passport

- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
The ID must be current (not expired) and include a photo and signature.
Can you notarize something for me if I don't have a current state issued ID as described above?
In some cases, alternative identification methods may be acceptable, such as credible witnesses who can vouch for your identity. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation, and we'll work to find a solution.
How much do Mobile Notaries charge to come out to my location?
Our mobile notary fees vary based on the service, location, and time of day. Please visit our Pricing page or contact us directly for a quote. We offer competitive rates and transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
Are you really available for appointments 24/7?
